With its electric propulsion system, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is showing drivers what the future of driving looks like. From the high-powered performance to the advanced safety functions, we’re breaking down everything buyers should know about the new Equinox EV.

Seating
There’s seating for up to five passengers inside the Chevy Equinox EV, which has soft cloth seats that offer increased comfort. The driver’s seat has 6-way manual adjustments, including forward/back, up/down, and recline positioning. The front passenger seat has 4-way manual adjustments.
The Equinox EV’s back seat is a fold-flat split bench that can be reconfigured. This bench has a manual release that allows you to fold down either side or fold the entire bench down to achieve a maximum cargo volume of 57.2 cubic feet.
Cabin
Cabin features in the new Equinox EV include an 11-inch driver information center that has five different visual themes: single gauge, dual gauge, driver assistance, map, and clean. The 6-speaker audio system provides perfect amplification throughout the cabin, while the Remote Start function lets you turn the engine on from outside the SUV.
Exterior
Choose from a variety of exciting color options for your new Equinox EV, such as Radiant Red Tintcoat or Galaxy Gray Metallic. The Equinox EV has 19-inch all-season blackwall tires that are paired with bright aluminum wheels. The Equinox EV has deep-tinted rear windows and solar-glazing front windows to reduce the sun’s strength in your cabin.
Technology
The 2025 Equinox EV offers advanced infotainment functions, including wireless smartphone integration, navigation capability, Google built-in capability, and SiriusXM satellite radio. With Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, you can sync your phone to the Equinox for several convenient capabilities, such as phone calls and texting through voice recognition. Once you install Google built-in, you can use features like Google Maps, Assistant, and Play.
The new Equinox EV also has 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability that works on up to ten devices. Use a laptop, smartphone, or tablet to surf the web or stream your favorite entertainment on services like Netflix.
Safety
Chevy Safety Assist acts as a second pair of eyes on the road, using features like forward collision alert and front pedestrian braking to prevent accidents in the Equinox EV. Rear cross-traffic braking, intersection automatic emergency braking, and blind zone steering assist are some of the advanced assistive safety functions in the Equinox EV. Other safety features include Teen Driver, Buckle to Drive, OnStar Basics, and Safety Alert Seat.
